Tracey's Story on Goals for a Cure Blog

Tracey Aguilar (Mom from SC Sporting 93G White Team)

It is a joy to see a community pull together to support such a wonderful cause. Twelve years ago this month I was given six months to live. With a 6 month old baby, 2 year old and 4 year old it was a devastating diagnosis. After many procedures including two stem cell transplants, I am a testament to the fact that every little bit helps. As a survivor I am thankful to all of you and your efforts. Research needs to continue and early detection is the best weapon for women today. If we continue to fight this disease one community at time, surely we will see a cure. Check-out the Goals for a Cure blog for more stories and photos from Santa Clara Sporting Teams.

The Sporting ’93 Girls White Team are using a Shaved-Ice booth to raise money for Goals for a Cure this year! Check-out all the fun photos from the team.
